The musicians in this band, led by pianist David Skinner, are among Oslo’s finest swing jazz players. They share one common goal: to swing so hard that no one in the room can sit still. But great swing music is about contrast, and that is where the band truly shines. The group delivers outstanding soloists, near-telepathic communication, and a wide dynamic range. The music spans from subtle, playful swing to high-energy virtuosity, with all manner of rhythmic twists and musical humour along the way.
