Simple Jonny draws inspiration from early swing, trad jazz, and the vocal-oriented jazz of the interwar period. Fronted by Johan Ohlanders (double bass/vocals), the band combines driving bass lines with charming vocals and storytelling. Together with Lars Frank (clarinet), Tobias Bergstrøm (guitar), Håkon Endal (piano), and Magnus Eide (drums), they create a rhythmic and playful sound that works equally well for listening and dancing.
